In 2006, Vespa Vancouver was purchased by Ron & Barb Hillman.  Their 30+ years of retail experience are reflected in the way you, our customers, are treated and how quickly our service department is able to translate your service requirements and get you back on the road.

Originally Vespa Vancouver, the shop has a new name: URBAN WASP (Vespa is Italian for Wasp).  The Hillmans have expanded the lines they carry to include Peugeot and SYM. So now the bikes that are famous in France, Italy, the Bahamas, and Thailand are all here and available to you. Still a family business, Ron's brother "Bob" is the guy you'll meet when you come into the store. Bob, who has managed the operation since day one, proudly displays the "Vancouver's Best Scooter Shop" Awards for 2007, 2008, & 2009.

And then there is London Ontario. Deep in the heart of the Auto Mile on Wharcliffe Road, this spacious store boasts the same lines and service as its Vancouver sister. Make sure you talk to Ben: he's exceptionally knowledgeable and fun to deal with. And rest assured that our service department knows how much you don't want to miss one day of fun in the sunshine!

There is something new on this Urban Wasp landscape: the sexy E-Bikes have arrived! Perfect for the rider who wants to enjoy pedaling and likes to stay on the scenic bike paths, but loves the idea of being able to travel at 32KM/Hr whenever they want!  From Scooters to E-Bikes, it's TWIST & GO!
